This is how targeting works on a lead generation program and on any outbound we engineer. Every person we contact is on a list you approved, filtered by title, sector and company size. The titles below are examples of the seniority we work at. The same method applies to any function and any considered B2B sale, whether you sell to operations, finance, marketing, HR or IT.
Decision-makers and the people who evaluate on their behalf, in whichever function owns the problem you solve. Each one is approached with a different message.
The filters that decide whether a company makes the list at all.
Usually 200 to 5,000+ employees, adjusted to your market. Smaller organisations rarely have a dedicated budget holder; larger ones need a named-account approach.
Whichever industries your product already has proof in: finance, government, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, retail, professional services or technology.
Funding rounds, leadership changes, hiring in the relevant team, expansion into a new market, regulatory deadlines and public incidents: whichever events release budget in your market.
We map who signs, who evaluates and who blocks. For most technical products that is three or four titles, not one.
The definition is written down and agreed before any list is built, so there is no argument later about whether a lead was in scope.
Sales Navigator search built against the agreed filters, then exported and enriched. We check company size, sector, geography and seniority on every record.
Typical starting lists run from a few hundred to several thousand named people, depending on how narrow your market is.
Existing customers, live opportunities, current suppliers and anyone on your exclusion list come out before outreach starts.
Your sales team should never hear from a prospect that we approached someone they were already talking to.
After the first month the list is re-cut against what actually replied, by sector, by title and by company size.
Segments that do not respond get dropped rather than repeated at higher volume.
Send the titles and sectors. We will come back with the addressable count and the volume we would run against it.
